Flagler County Assist REACT
provided assistance to FireFlight during the "Salute to the Coast Guard" at Bings Landing on April 26th 2008. REACT members are trained as Landing Zone specialists. They make the Landing Zone safe before the helo arrives and then stand by for the duration until FireFlight leaves. They also help keep a safe perimeter during public displays of the aircraft.

REACT volunteers work in shifts to protect FireFlight and be ready in case of a call. if a call occurs they rapidly clear the Landing Zone so FireFlight can safely launch.
