ABOUT FLAGLER COUNTY ASSIST REACT
High school students who wanted to make a difference established
Flagler County Assist in 1985 with the purpose of using CB radio to help
others. Today we are a 501.3(c) non profit organization. Our mission is to
provide assistance to Flagler County and municipalities with volunteer
services. We provide communications and logistic support during emergencies as
well as public service events. REACT stands for Radio Emergency Associated
Communications Team. Our volunteers receive training from the National Weather
Service and Flagler County Emergency Services.
CONTACTING REACT FOR HELP
For planned events, FCA REACT requests that you contact us at least
2 weeks in advance, earlier if possible. That will allow our volunteers to
set time for the event. REACT help for planned events can be contacted requested
via 931-5077, 437-9157 or 445-4668
For
Emergencies such as searches and any other time critical requests, REACT can
be contacted through the numbers above or the Emergency Services Duty Officer
